AND....I have also received a few free ones myself...including Ch. Merricac's Katherine, a perfectly healthy. gorgeous bitch..free and clear, no strings or puppies back...there would be no Kate or Becca in my life without that generous gift...

I just gave 2 of my young boys away this week-end. They didnt turn out for showing and I happened to find two of the most wonderful families over the week-end that were looking for a small dog. I had been hoping for quite a while that this would happen. They were friends of a friend as she told them about me. So far, so good!! The dogs seem to be adjusting well and the families just love them!!!

So, "free or cheap" dogs are not unheard of without it being a scam. Its too bad though, that this is not always the case.

I got a free Yorkie this past week. He's a nice little guy, maybe too big for some at around 8 or 9 lbs but he's a joy to me. He is about 3 and still getting used to his new home. This man had several Yorkies and one started marking and the man worked during the day and couldn't give him all the attention he needed. He is an attention hog and he gets it here with me. He's a smart little guy. We already have him high fiving. He hasn't yet figured out the potty plan but that will come with time.

Yeah..there are so good hearted people out there. There is a lady here in TN. that's gives Yorkie pups away for Christmas presents each year.

Sounds like this is a good thing my friend is going to do.
But she said finding a good home might be rough. That's why she is going to ask plenty of questions and she wants references.
But she wants him neutered at the new owners expense. She said she doesn't know if she should have this done and they pay for it before they get the dog or if she should trust them to have it done.

Oh my, that is so nice of you. I was starting to cry when I read this! I always hope that people are this kind! You are an awesome lady! I can't stop thinking of the nine year old boy. You made a lasting impression on that little boy, I know!! God does work in mysterious ways!

What a heartwarming post... I did really know there are truly good people out in this world.. it is so nice to be reassured once in awhile..

I went to the flea market today, talked to a woman.. who had a beautiful yorkie.. I mean precious.. she just got him and paid 350.00 dollars for him. So this is two great stories twice in one day...
God bless you for being such a kind person...that story chocked me right up when that little boy made that comment.

There are still lots of good people outhere. Please make sure you ask the questions and that he is healthy. Other then that...Go with your feelings.

I don't feel allot of questions anymore for what she is going to do.
I know she said she is posting him as a give away on her site. But who ever must qualify if that makes since. She said this way everyone out there has a chance to get a free yorkie.

She is just trying to find him the RIGHT and PERFECT good home.
She is a very nice lady and just loves her yorkies, as they are everything to her. So it has to be the right home or she will not let him go.
