| I have this problem. My neighbors and I get along, but for some reason, especially durring the winter, let their dogs out to potty in the front. And they come over to my yard. Let me just remind you that their back yard is fenced in~~~~ I'm hoping they come pick it up soon or I'll have to ask them to.

| Well Vicki, I live on 8 acres in the country and several neighbors don't keep their dogs up. My little Murfee poops tootsie rolls...Their dogs are big and poop footballs. They make their "rounds" every morning thru my front yard and always seem to have to do their business here. We have some big decorative rocks in front of the house. One time there was a BIG pile on one of the rocks. Now how did he get his butt up there? We have a little fenced back yard and that is the only place where we let Murfee go.

| Our neighbor used to let their dog out to run the neighborhood and do it's business. Well after a couple of months of picking up their dog's poo and throwing it away, I started chucking it across the street in front of their house.

| I don't know if moving to the country would help..my parents live out in the country on 48acres. Dogs are ALWAYS running through our property. There's always unknown poop in their yard around the house...dog poop, cat poop, coyote poop, etc.... I think you'll end up with more poop and unknown animals in your yard if you live in the country. Definitely get your sign

| What a great sign idea I love the R.I.P. one! I don't think the pesticide one would work because they will see your dog out there. We live on a three house street that backs to the woods where a path goes to the park. EVERYONE w/i a 5 block radius walks their dogs on our street. It is great in some ways. I have met the most wonderful people this way (I love to sit on my porch in my cracker barrel rocker). BUT whenever I am not there people just let their dogs crap on my yard (right by the curb where my husband has to park if the kids are playing basketball). It never fails if we are in a hurry one of the 6 of us steps in some other dogs poop! To the OP. I would have chased that kid down and dumped the poop in his bare hand...lol. Or, put it in a paper bag and set it on fire on his porch...lol! One time I had a dog across the street who ALWAYS pooped on my driveway where I parked... I would alway step in it when I got home. I nicely asked them to stop him from doing it and they didn't... so I started taking a pooper scooper and everytime he did it I just dumped it RIGHT outside their front door... right where they would step as soon as they open the door. This broke them right away! lol |

You know though...both times I've come in close contact with a snake has been here at my townhouse complex!! A few summers ago I had been out running errands with Lacy and parked under my covered parking space...there is a small patch of grass right next to where I park with a couple small trees so I let Lacy go over there to potty before we headed inside. I saw something move and pulled her back. It was a copperhead all coiled up! I had to get some men in the office to kill it..it was like 4 feet long!! And then a couple months ago I was letting Rylie and Lacy potty and there was a tiny snake on the side walk. It was cold outside too...it was dark so I don't know what kind of snake it was but that just really freaks me out. There is a big park right across the street from where I live though so I'm sure there are all kinds of animals that come out from over there. I am terrified of spiders and scorpions too We've been having an epidemic of rabid skunks around town too.. so I try to stear clear of all wildlife
