Congrats! Your silky is so cute! I think Silky Terriers are a blend of an Australian Terrier and a Yorkie...so he's still part yorkie anyway. :-) I just love the ears on the silkies...

Congratulations on your Silky! I had a silky that was feisty and fun and I miss him everyday. He was only 7 pounds and he looked so much like a yorkie that sometimes when people would ask me what kind of dog he was, I would just say a yorkie because it seems like alot of people don't know about silkies and it was a whole lot easier than going into a big explanation.

Your new little one is adorable. Just lately I was looking at a web-site trying to figure out the difference between a Yorkie and a Silky. Never did figure it out. I've heard say that Silkies weigh more, but then there are lots of Yorkies that weigh more than the standard. So who can tell? I'm sure that he is a wonderful addition to your family. Joanne

| How cool that you realize that, while you didn't realize you weren't getting "what you asked for", you got the little guy that was meant to be yours. His little face looks JUST LIKE A QUINCY!!

He is so cute, my vote is for Quincy, he looks like one to me. Last time I looked Max was the # 1 favorite name for dogs and cats in 2007. I have to admit though if I ever got a male, I always liked the name Max, short for Maxamillon. Almost forgot, WELCOME TO YT!!
