i also have to tell you that her getting her surgery was only possible because someone did actually reply to my post with a very blessed financial donation...
you know what guys, it only takes one person to make a difference. one person to change a situation that looks too big to handle to a situation that is reachable... this person made a donation from their heart, they read my post, believed it was not a scam, and allowed themselves to be an angel to us.
when i woke up that morning last week when i started this thread, i didn't expect much, i was just doing what my heart was telling me to. sometimes you have to listen to your inner self, (i call it the Lord speaking, he answered my and all your prayers.) i had been stessing, praying, searching for some help, and my goodness someone came to our rescue.
i can't wait to get her home and maul her with kisses... i miss her so much, my house is so empty with out her.. i don't hear her little feet walking beside me, i don't hear her running through the house with her pooh bear stuffed animal, i don't have her scratchin at my legs as write this, but thankfully i will have all these things again soon, and hopfully for a very long time!
lastly, i want to say, never think that there isn't someone who is willing to help. never think that people don't care. don't always think people are just trying to scam you, some of us are truley sincere... but most of all i want to thank you all for EVERY PRAYER and EVERY HOPEFUL THOUGHT SENT OUR WAY... and lastly, we are all so lucky so have a website to come on and share all our stories of our little babies! this story guys i have to say belongs in the history book, "Bells' fight for her life, the full story of her happy, healthy ending" ...

Praise God that Bell is doing so well and that she will be home on Friday!! May the Lord bless the one who helped make this possible! We're so glad you're both here. YorkieTalk is a wonderful place!!!

I would so like to help out with "gifting" but living in another country makes it so difficult. I am so blessed that we can afford our vet fees, and having a vet who is also our best friend also helps

I didn't have time to read this whole thread but I will give you some legal advise. I don't know off the top of my head what CA's small claims court cap is, but it is probably not high enough to cover the cost of what you are going to spend on your baby. A lawyer is going to cost you money up front, but may be the best way to go. And yes, most states have a third option. You need to know that in small claims court you can't have a lawyer with you. It is just you against the pet store owner (who probably has been through this before). You are right. Fight him! At least small claims will cover a lot of the surgery and care if not all of it! Good luck!

I did just see someone helped you. That is great. However you should still persue justice or it is going to happen to more people. Also, if the donation was from someone you know, you could pay her back. If the donation was anonymous you could "pay it forward". Just my thoughts.

That is GREAT NEWS! I'm so glad your baby got the surgery she needed. Ahhhh at the power of YT prayer and the incredible angels here on YT who care so much about our members and their babies. I know that alot of members have been touched by YT Angels at one time or another and it is so great that someone was able to step up for you. When I see threads like this it reminds me that generosity and compassion far outweigh the drama here despite how it may seem some days! Hugs to you and your baby!

I just only now read this thread I dont know how I missed it before. I am so glad that your baby is ok and that you had an angel helping you out. It is so nice to know there are kind people who are willing to help and understand and not judge. The pics of Bell are so cute she is so precious!
