| I don't feel bad at all, I refuse to let them win the battle of smelliness. Actually my boys are pretty mellow during bath time, except when I have to shampoo thier face.

| I found if I stay calm and talk to them the entire time - it keeps them calm and I can get done faster. I used to keep a little anxious because I knew they didn't like it and was trying to get done so they didn't get stressed out - but that didn't work! Mine don't "like" getting bathed but they know it happens every week (and sometimes more). I always save a special treat for when we're all done. Besides, they like running around on my bed rubbing their faces on every inch of it. They get CRAZY!

| YT 2000 Club Member | I know just how you feel. Jeter hates his bath, he starts to shiver before we even make it to the bathroom! He looks so terrified and he tries to jump out of tub, I worry so much that he is going to brake his leg jumping all over the place like a crazy man. I put a smaller tub into our bathtub and I cant bath him in the kitchen sink right no because I am remodeling our kitchen at this moment.

| I don't feel bad for bathing her... I feel bad because of how she feels afterwards... and how she hates it. I don't want her to stink, and I do bath her about 2 times a week, depending on the weather, sometimes only once. I always turn up the heat too.... I do shower with her. I put her on my sisters shower chair with a little mat so her paws dont slide, and I bath her on that while I'm in the shower. Then afterwards I use a QTip in her ears... Clean out all the dirties... But I just feel bad cause she hates it so much, and afterwards she shivers and does her little coughing thing... and it worries me.... I think I will try that ketchup bottle thing. That sounds like a good idea. I have tried using a cup and putting it over her, she still freaks out. And she doesnt like the sprayer at all. Although its easier than back when I used to bathe her under the sink faucet. *its a high rise faucet.* So, I think I will definitely try this "ketchup bottle" trick... I also like just putting her in the sink with soap. I have done that too and think I will do it from now on... I guess I can take a little bit of tricks from everyone!

| Riley loves baths most of the time. There are some times that he absolutely hates them though. Normally, I cover his eyes with my hands, so he doesnt freak out as much. The mustard bottle thing sounds really helpful!! |

| Mine both hate baths also but I hate stinky dogs so I win! I found that using a wet wash cloth to wash thier faces really helps. I have a really deep utility sink with a sprayer in my laundry room. I put a towel on the bottom of one side of the sink that they can sit on and lather them up with a good massage, rinse, wash thier face, put conditioner on, rinse, wrap in a big towel, carry them over to the fireplace which I turned on, so it is toasty, sit there and dry them off, wipe out ears, brush out and let down to do hot laps around the living room, then on to the next dog. I think their favorite part is the hot laps. The first one cannot wait until the other one is done.

| I feel bad when I'm giving her a bath at the time.. but once I towel-dry her and let her run around.. I see her tail wagging as if to say "thank God I'm finally clean".. So then I don't deel so bad

| I am blessed that Parker really doesn't mind taking a bath, he even licks at the faucet... But when I bring out the blowdryer is game over. I have to have my husband help me hold him (his BIG old 2.2lb body ) Its soooo funny how they look like Chihuahuas when they are wet....I attached a few pics just for fun!! |

| I am lucky so far with my Roxy since she likes baths. I bath her in the sink and as long as the warm water is running on her she just stands there. Then when she gets out is another story. She runs around the house like a crazy lady.

| I don't feel bad because I know feeling clean is such a great feeling, and a bath is quick. I believe in being calm and confident and prepared. I believe the furbabies feed off of my mood. I talk to them the entire time I'm washing. Also, I believe in using only a high quality dog shampoo - that way you don't have to worry about a human shampoo getting into their eyes, nose, mouth. Plus many other benefits in using a product made for these yorkie coats.
