I wondered that too. I wasn't sure how successful frozen sperm is but I'm assuming you would not be able to find anyone in your area if there are so few in the county. Or would you ship your baby out to the stud? Just curious.

I have heard that AI doesn't alway work well. I would be interested in hearing if you have successful--somehow-- finding a stud or AI. Good luck.

Chocolate Parti color yorkies should not be bred. This is not an acceptiable color and is a gentic mutation, your asking for problems. Why would you want to breed these as this is not correct for the standard

I think most here certainly know this is not an acceptable color in the Yorkshire standard. However, I had no idea it came with problems. Please do enlighten us on what "problems" are asscociated with this color.

Sorry but the chocolate color and the parti color are caused by recessive genes for those particular colors. Both mom and dad have to carry both the chocolate and parti genes in order to produce a chocolate parti yorkie. Chocolate and parti colors are not caused by a genetic mutation, they are not freaks of nature and they are no more prone to health problems than the traditional colored yorkies are.

These colors may not be correct according to the standards set by YTCA but neither is black and tan, yet for some reason, the black "off colored" dogs, seem to be much more accepted?

.Now a question how do you get a parti? What is bred with what to get one or do you breed them then breed the offspring with something or other way around to get a parti?
And Biewers how did they come about and what were they bred with to get the colors?

I own and adore a 12 week old chocolate girl, and her only problem's seem to be missing her pee pad when she potties and assuming my toes are chew toys. LOL

From my understanding, Biewers and Partis both came about the same way. With 2 regular colored Yorkies who both carried the recessive gene for it. One out of four chance to have the white come out only if both parents have the recessive gene.

It seems like breeders of Partis and Biewers will fight that they are two different breeds, but I really don't see it.

Was she asking for your opinion of whether she should breed or not? Can you now tell the age of the dog from a picture...why does everyone get off topic when it comes to breeding??
