yes..once you get the color then you just breed them to other biros and you will get biros from then out. Also remember that even the other colored puppies in the litter when bred back to a biro can also have biro because they carry the genes.

I love my Roxy's colors too... I think her silvery/blue hair and her golden tan hair, and then she has a blonde top... She is just so cute... I wanna glomp her up! I love her tiny little head too... and her big dark brown blackish eyes... She is so beautiful... *in love*

How do you register Biros in the US? Or don't you? I know Biewers are registered with the IBC.

Think about for a minute....if you breed an AKC Chocolate Yorkie to an AKC Parti Yorkie. Do this with two different breeding pairs and keep a puppy from each litter. Breed those two dogs together (they carry the chocolate gene and the parti gene) and you get a combination of 4 colors (black-tan, chocolate-tan, black-tan-parti, and chocolate-white-parti). Now, are they 4 different breeds??? Or just different colors? They are all littermates and all yorkies. Its just a matter of color genetics.

The ACH-L is not the IBC. There are over 50 different German clubs that can register Biewer's. The Biro's were started from 2 breeders in Germany from the Biewers.

From my understanding...this is correct. Biewers and Biro's are only seperated by color. In fact...they can be born in the same litter. Two Biewer parents can produce a Biro puppy if they both carry the chocolate gene. Just like two traditional blue and gold Yorkies can produce chocolate if they are chocolate carriers.
