Zoey came to me at 16 weeks and had three. She will get her fourth on Friday and wait another two months for her rabies and then get spayed.

| Well I have some pet breeder friends and they sold to a couple getting married and it was right before Christmas. Now get this one the wedding is off and they were with the parents still and the parents don't want the dog and neither to the 2 kids. Oh what do these people think about when they get a dog. Another couple living with parents come and bought one and then suddenly they have to find someone to keep the puppy till they get there own place as the parents don't want the puppy at there home. Do people not even consider anyone else when they aren't living in there own homes? I totally agree with you all people don't consider anything but buying becaused they are so adorable. Neither ones were Yorkies but still some dog not wanted. And do they not read about the breed before they consider buying so they know everything possible about them and what to expect?

| That's no good... I'd be so scared.... And no, some ppl dont care about anybody else when they buy a puppy... They just care about themselves... NOT EVEN THE PUPPY!

| That is the reason so many furbabies end up in rescues. PPL think its cute for the holidays and they ohhhh aaahhhh because the puppy is so cute but then after the holidays they don't want the responsibility. Makes me angry too I just rescued Gabby she was dropped off at the SPCA then the rescue picked her up. I was looking at her paperwork filled out by her previous owners and it just made me angry. At least put the effort in to give all the info you can about her not just 2 word sentences. UUUGGGGHHHHH Just seems to me like they got tired of her then dropped her off at the shelter and were in a hurry. |

| I hesitate to even post this because I don't want to start something, but have a couple of things I feel I need to say.... 1) Sadie was a Christmas present to me three years ago. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me. She came into my life at a wonderful time and while it hasn't always been easy (is it ever with a puppy?) I have no regrets & love her more than ANYTHING. 2) I just got my parents a puppy for Christmas. THey lost their dog two years ago & were ready for another one. I did the research & found a good breeder & a good puppy. My parents couldn't be happier. My mom says my dad is just in love with her, and I know she is too. And yes, they're going through that rough puppy stage (training, chewing, etc.) but they know they will make it through. I say all of this to say that I don't think it's fair to generalize and say that it is always a bad idea to give one as a Christmas gift. Sometimes it's just the right thing at just the right time. I agree that for some people it is not a good idea (like for the guy you know), but for some people, it's the perfect thing. I think it just depends on the situation and the people involved.

| Sadie's Mom... we're not saying its always bad... We're just saying if you either dont know who you're selling your puppy to as a Breeder, then youre an irresponsible Breeder.... And If you're buying a puppy without knowing how the other person will handle it or if they can even take care of it, then thats bad judgement too... Thats usually when a baby ends up neglected, or going to a shelter... Its just not right for the puppies... But if you are buying it for someone you know will love it and take care of it and has the means... then do it!!!
