| Do they know that you want him? Are they 'holding' him for you? The only reason I ask, is b/c once there was a Small Female Yorkie at the 'pound' over here and there was a line the next morning - JUST FOR HER |

| I know!! I have to wait for my boyfriend to bring my car back at one. I can't stand waiting. But the shelter said he was less likely to be apdopted then the other dogs because since he was surrendered for biting he has a "no homes with children" stipulation on him and they said most of the people that come there are looking for dogs for their kids. Which is why I feel the need to get him even more because he's more likely to be put on the kill list, i guess he has been there for a little while. poor baby. The shelter he is at is too full and they only hold dogs for a limited time...which makes me even more mad that people keep dumping dogs at shelters. |

| They can't hold him but they said it was unlikely for him to be adopted due to the fact he has a no homes with kids ban on him (because he was surrendered for biting) and he has been reported as a biter. Hopefully he will still be there..but if he isn't that still means he went to someone's good home and he's not going to be killed...so i wont be too upset. |

| If I weren't working I would go with you and take you to rescue that little cutie pie as I live in the Houston area too. In which shelter is he at? Is it the Montgomery county shelter? I've seen a couple of Yorkies there lately.I'm sure his boss will understand. This is an emergency.

He is at the Galveston County Animal Shelter in Texas City, a bit of a drive from me (I'm in Copperfeild area off 290) but worth it! I am going to call when my boyfriend gets home and see if he is still there before I leave. | |

| Wow he's so close to me as I live in Pasadena (45 south and Beltway 8). Gosh why do I have to be working today! If I weren't working I would of gone down there and asked for him and waited for you to get there. I hope he's still there when you go. Just keep calling them to let them know ur going to get him. That's not an excuse to give up ur dog. Max bit my husband in a very sensitive area and we didn't take him to the shelter. It was our fault not his. My husband cried when they took him for 10 days b.c he had to be kept in seclution to make sure he didn't have rabies.(we went to the hospital b/c it was near his private and alot of blood so they reported it to people that take care of these type of accidents and they came to our house and took him). Our house was so empty for those 10 days and then they wouldn't even let us see him it was a nightmare for us. And he is the sweetest boy ever I know it was the owners fault for that freak accident.
