| ![]() If that vet was any kind of "VET" the money wouldn't come into play at all. They would understand about the money, at least my vet does, he cares so much for the animals, and money comes last

I am so sorry that you were treated like that!!How rude and unprofessional of him! I do not think that you have an attitude problem when you are worried about the health of your pet. You asked that they check Gabby's lump that was caused by vaccination that they gave her, I can see were you would not think that they should charge you, as some places do not charge for a follow up appointment ( like when you have to go back in and get stichs taken out) I would not feel comfy to go back to this place regardless of how they were with you in the past. I think you use my mother's x vet if I am not mistaken, we had talked about this before we got our furbabies before. She had simular problems few years back and switch vets ASAP. She was so glad to find her new vet and has never had any problems with her. I was thinking of using her myself but I found my own after doing my own search. If you want ,you can e mail me, call, or PM me and I can give you the prices that I have had to pay with the vet I am using, He is great with Jeter and he makes over him at his appointments letting Jeter lick his face even! Also he has split up Jeters shots so that he will be less likely to have reactions, and he did not give the Lepto vaccine, some yorkie breeders will have in their contracts that they advise against this vaccine and I voiced a concern and he said that it was not needed.

| ![]() change your vet ASAP! There is no ATTITUDE when you are concerned and worried for your furbaby!!! You sound like an angel compared to me!! I'd have shown them straight ![]() You were WORRIED for your baby after they gave her her vaccination! I had a huge ordeal with Jaya's second set of shots so I know where you're coming from! You need to feel good with your vet because you need to trust him to take care of your pup. If he even made an issue of your call-in, that shows me clearly he is not concerned with the wellfair of you or your pup. His first reaction should have been "how can we make this better for you, how can i help you", and the fact that they refused to understand where you were coming from in regards to leaving out the checkup fee, also tells me they dont care about you or your pup. I would call them up, put them straight, let them know how disappointed i was in their services, and that i had every intention of letting my friends and family in the area know of my experiences with them, and let them know i found someone who could take care of my pup!" I dont care if thats harsh or not -- but how would someone feel if you replaced your yorkie with a 'child' -what would ppl's reactions be then!!!! these vets just piss me off. but you know what, there are wonderful vets too. i ended up with someone wonderful, and i call him up frequently. I hope you find someone who can meet your needs! ![]() |

| ![]() no way in the world did a vet have any right at all to even think of talking to you like that! i'm sure he was having a BAD or overwhelming day BUT you didnt cause it and thats just not right at all defintely unprofessional and uncalled for a vet cant always control whats going on with the "workers" but it is their buisness and their responsibility to keep it under control i work at a vets office and thats just wrong! theres no way they should have treated you like that espicaaly over a shot reaction which seems to be a common thing not such a big deal shame on them i woulld tell them to stick it in their ears REALLY it seems as they do not need your money or seem to think its not good enough i dont know this post just irritates me .im sorry you were treated so badly!

Donating Yorkie Yakker | ![]() I wanted to thank anyone who replied to my post offering support or help. Icouldn't stop thinking about it- I finally called today and cancelled Gabby's appointments with the vet--I'm going to take her to someone else. I think that vet actually is a good doctor- just not for us. Thanks again everyone ![]() |

| ![]() I don't like wise a*s vets...there are plenty of good vets around who don't price gauge and treat theur clients with respect at all times. If a vet gets wise with me I am afraid the he will mis treat my pet. I like a professional to be professional at all times...and price/expense is always a consideration because vets like anyone else can syphon money at the expense of your pets' health (that is prob pushing it for this conversation) but I still don't like wise A*S vets. Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() When I was told earlier this week of Dixie's devastating diagnosis of kidney failure at 6 months of age, by the vet he gave me no hope and no prognosis. I had to ask for a referral to a specialist who thinks we can get her to enjoy a decent life with medicine and monitoting. I will be calling my vets office and request he not do the follow up and I will make sure he treats none of my other babies. He knows from past experience with me that I always go the extar mile with my babies. I ususally see the other vets in the practice anyway. There are too many great vets out there to waist my time on one that gives up hope on my baby before even trying.
