I see this very sentiment ALL OVER the YT. I'm so glad you brought this to my personal attention.

My point was that should he be subjecting his bitches to frequent c-sections, this is would not be a cost effective way of doing business. Therefore, I wouldn't think this is a common practice of his and of course, I hope it is not.

Not nasty, just defensive. But still uncalled for. I think when people are in the wrong and know it they become defensive. I think that one YTer said they had a pm that stated a lawsuit from VTK. Just for the record, lol in the US we all have freedom of speech under the First Amendment, so I think she probly has nothing to worry about.

Frankly, I'm not sure what my feelings are. On the one hand, his responses were a little... uh... unprofessional. But on the other hand, he sounded quite proud of his business and his breeding practices. So, as a business person, I have mixed feelings about him.

About his business, let me say this...
The dog breeds we have today are due to solid knowledge of genetics and years of SOUND breeding practices. Every single one of our toy breeds have been bred down to their present acceptable sizes. He may have something going on in his bloodlines or something else, I don't know. But, after watching his web site for the last 6 years, it would appear he does have something consistant going on. And I do like the LOOKS, as they APPEAR on the web site, of his Yorkies.

That said, I like a LOT of Yorkies I see. So, bottom line, we'll be checking out several, maybe many, including Velvet Touch, when it's time for our next furbaby.

No, he didn't. He ranted and raved and insulted members and harrassed others by PM. Never once did he explain anything, address any issues or answer any questions. He has all the oportunity in the world to clear up any false statements or anything that was misleading about what he is doing. Unfortunately, he has chosen not to...which, acutually, clears up quite a bit.

Yes, for the most part, I do come here for entertainment purposes.

I guess this one sort of struck a cord with me. It just didn't seem fair that so many YT'ers, who I KNOW to know better, were making such derogatory remarks and accusations without facts. Sure, some assumptions could be made, but that's NOT the way the posts were coming across. I thought it was sad.

I guess I was also saddened because of the hurtful remarks made towards the Yorkies. My gosh, it wasn't THEIR fault where they were bred! Plus, not only do I LIKE them, but, one of my little girls resembles some of them.

So, I made an attempt to call attention to some insensitivity. I'll try not to make THAT mistake again.
