Sorry no good news to report. You are are too kind. I have not shared this because I did not want to think it could be possible. The night Delilah went running off scared to death, a neighbors little 4 lb. pom did the same thing. While we were out looking we would pass each other and ask if the other had had any luck. She said she had heard the sound of a little dog screaming and thought it sounded like her little dog. I also thought I had heard something but could not tell if it was the whistling of the fireworks or a very far off sound of a little dog's cries. I called her several times and finally caught up with her yesterday to check on her dog. Thankfully she had found her dog on her porch later that night. I am now afraid Delilah may have came into contact with a big dog. I do not want to think about it. But thought you should know.

Oh Tissy honey i am so sorry but you know that doesn't mean it was her it could have been fireworks they make that sound believe me when they started here by our house i went running checking on my minpin skeeta because i could have swore it was her screaming but she was laying on my bed shaking like a leaf from the noise herself. I am just having a hard time trying to imagine a big dog getting a hold of her because up until i got max i never knew how fast those little dogs are they can really fly and if she was scared i am sure if a big dog approached her she would have high tailed it out of there. Deep down in my heart i really believe that someone has her and hate to say this but took her in as their own and had no plans or returning her but i also believe someone will come to you and let you know who has her and you will get her back.

Is she friendly to people? other dogs? do you think she would come to a stranger if they called her?


Hun i am keeping you both in my prayers because i believe in my heart she is out there and she is safe and she will be back with you.

Kat is so right you can't give up NEVER i know of someone who's dog ran off last year on new years and 17 days later they had her back!!! So please don't give up hope she will be back

Tissy....don't even think that she might have run into a bigger dog and got hurt. I am like 99% sure she will be back home. It is very rare that a lost dog is not found. And I really hate to saythis and hope it does not come over the wrong way but if she did run into a dog or anything that hurt her you most likely would have found her by now.

I am sure she is hiding or safe at someone's house that either does not know where to return her or just has not thought of it yet.

Please don't take anything I said in the negative....I have just heard of too many missing dogs that are found.....eventually.

I live around a lot of wooded areas. A lot of hawks and buzzards. Lots of ponds and a lake. If you could see the area you would realize she could be anywhere and never be found. I really appreciate you all staying positive and I am really trying to as well. But it is getting harder and harder as time goes by. I pray she is with someone, I really do!
