Therapy Dog Donating Member | Oh Brooke I am so glad that Tater Tot is OK...and I know things can happen in a blink of an eye but so lucky you were so aware of what was going to happen. It was no one's fault and these little buggers are so darn fast. I am so glad that Tatum is OK now but you I can imagine are still a wreck....take a deep breath and everything will be OK.

| I'm so glad she is okay , this is the reason why I keep my dogs locked in the bedroom while the family eats dinner.

| Im so glad shes ok, I know how scarey that is. We always throw leftovers out to the stray cats. and one day Mickey ran out and the cats had not ate all the food yet and he grabed a mouthful and knowing he is not allowed to have it he ran off, I tried to take it from him and he to tried to swallow it whole, It scared me so much, now before I take him out I go out and make sure theres none around. |

| Oh My! How Scary.... so glad that it turned out well. I know exactly the feeling........ I think that Yorkies have some kind of radar for food that falls.... they are there INSTANTLY!....... A good name for a Yorkie would be Roomba!(sp) Again, glad that Tat is OK....... is she back to her normal self yet?

| I had a similar experience this week. I gave Talula a small piece of treat while I brushed her hair to occupy her(it was soft) and she got excited and inhaled it. She immediately started choking and screaming. I picked her up and tried to break it apart with my fingers or get it out and she just kept screaming and her eyes bulged. We got it into little pieces but it scared us to death and I think I was shaking for quite some time after that. I always throw the ends of bones away because they're too tiny but I didn't think that something soft would be a problem!

| Brooke I know you were scared to death! Sugar choked on a piece of HeartGuard a while back and I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I am so happy she is okay!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Oh Tater! I'm so glad she is okay! We too have had choking incidents w/ both babies and they are nothing short of TERRIFYING. Once again, let's wrap them all in bubble wrap and hold them in our arms forever! So glad the Tot is okay. Hugs, girl!
