| Question about Snow Boots Can anyone give me advice regarding the use of booties for my Yorkie? I worry about Remi's little paws on those cold, icy, days. I tried a pair of boots on him at the local PETCO but he just shook them off before I was able to secure them. He is over a year old and may not even be a candidate for wearing them. What do you think? Much appreciated! |

| This is the first yr for Deiter to wear them, Cozmo also wears them. When I had a hard time also. Just have to get the velcro really tight around there little paws. They still try and shake them off. I put them on in the house to try and get them use to them, it took awhile but finally they didn't mind them, beings they knew i was going to take them off. I love ours and they work great. Takes a little time to put them on so they stay. Good luck

| A couple of years ago I started cutting up baloons and using them on their feet in nasty icey weather to protect agains the eliments and rock salt. I liked the idea so much that I then started using socks under the baloons to give some warmth. My little guy (I use them mostly on him cause GiGi will go indoors in real bad weather) is used to them and even liked them when I first used them. I have just ordered from "in the company of dogs" a set of red rubber boots that look a little thicker than the baloons and a little easier to get on. Have to se how they fit yet. They come in 12 boots per pack and cost 19.99 and then of course shipping. But YES I do like the idea of giving them some warmth and protection in bad weather...and I think these rubber boots will be good in the summer for heavy rain also. Tina
