I've heard it happen before but never thought to someone I know

Oh, this makes me so mad! What jerks! I live in the country also, and worry about things like this happening. Hubby doesn't understand why I lock the doors just to run to the store when I'll be back in half an hour.....bet it didn't take this jerk half and hour to do his deed; even though her doors were locked! I feel so bad for her and I hope her baby is returned. And I can certainly sympathize with her on the sheriff's part in all this. In small towns, parades and such always come first! Prayers are with her; please keep us posted. You are a good friend.

we got together today for lunch. I don't know if I can be anymore disgusted. She spoke with the police station yesterday and they didn't even do up the report yet! The phone was supposed to come out and fix her lines (she pays for that service) and they never showed up! When I talked to her today she told me that for the past few days she's been in a daze and so upset she couldn't think straight, but now, she told me she's pissed. YEAH!!!!!! She was going to the police station after our meeting to demand the report be finished and to get a copy of it.

the county Sheriffs dept. called my friend today!!!!!! He had just received her file (nice huh), He will be investigating this, he told her that he has two yorkies and that someone had tried to steal them so he would go after this guy full force. FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!
The newspaper also called her and did a story on her. try this link to the article.

This article is certainly a start - it's too bad there wasn't also a story about how the law officers had ignored her and the lost gun.

But praise God for the guy who is a Yorkie lover - maybe he'll be hot on their tail.

I'm praying this furbaby comes home soon & the scoundrels are caught!
