Oh, this makes me so mad!
What jerks! I live in the country also, and worry about things like this happening. Hubby doesn't understand why I lock the doors just to run to the store when I'll be back in half an hour.....bet it didn't take this jerk half and hour to do his deed; even though her doors were locked! I feel so bad for her and I hope her baby is returned. And I can certainly sympathize with her on the sheriff's part in all this. In small towns, parades and such always come first!
