I have only had the babies for just over a month and everything is still so new and sometimes overwhelming for me and them too. My main concern right now is the corner of the eyes. Then I will attack the paws. I too have wood floors and they are already slipping all around. We go to the Vet today for our rabbies shot and I want to ask if they can trim their nails (I am way tooo scared for that). I also want to ask the Vet about cleaning inside their ears. Like what I should use and how far do I go. I do notice it looks like they have some spots wax? in their ears, oh and also I hope the Vet can pluck any hairs in there that need to be (I don't think that I can do that one either!) Thanks Again! |
The vet CAN pluck that hair - ask them - they will only do it if you request it - but they should have no wax in there so I'm sure you can get that taken care of - I don't pluck that hair - I can't bring myself to do that - lol - I'm a woose - it just looks like it would hurt but I've HEARD it doesn't....The vet can clip the nails for you too while you're there - I ALWAYS have them do a clip cause my girls are so initimidated they stand perfectly still for THEM !
Trimming under the feet will help with that slipping too - we have tile and the same thing happens with all 3 of my girls - I just use Sizzors for that -
