| Donating YT 11K Club Member | I think it's okay that you hold him a lot. It will just let him know how much you love him. I hold mine a lot too, and they love it.

| I think it's fine to cuddle with them and take them many places for socialization, but I also think it's important to allow the puppy to walk on it's own, get used to a leash, and walk around in unfamiliar settings (not in a bag). I see so many people that only carry their dogs in bags and then they have no idea how to walk on a leash and interact. JMO. |

It's a shame but I love holding her even against her will, but then she has to go down again and release her energy. She can whine and whine, but she is toughening up and overnight she does well in the kitchen, waking up around 6-7 a.m. when my husband goes free her anyway as he goes to work. I think she is adjusting to the house rules and doesn't cry around 1 a.m. as she used to the first week or two. Now she let's us sleep at least 7-8 hours, knowing we are coming to get her in the morning. This morning I heard her but I think she is getting the message that crying does not work anymore and it's better for her to learn to spend time on her own in her bed. During the day she is always with us if possible and if we go out she always comes with us, she quite enjoys to sleep in the car, while we are in a shop.
