| Your mistake Your only mistake in this situation was thinking you have friends on here to vent to. If you do indeed have friends on here... pm them about stuff like this. People get evil, vicious, condescending, and judgemental on here. You can't bring up anything that has to do w/ emotions if it has a slight chance of someone taking another view. One person will pounce and others will jump on the bandwagon. The great thing about this site is people are extremely knowledgable. There are interesting posts, fun posts and even scarey posts. But if you say anything heart felt and you want support... if it is even slightly controversial... get ready... you will only get hurt. There are so many great people... but so many just want to feel better about themselves by running people down. My husband ... took the same view as your boyfriend when I was having problems... and I actually got what I wanted in the end of that too because of the viciousness. lol So... remember... pick and choose your "friends" wisely and don't ask for opinions and unless you are truly ready for all of them....lol! Good luck. I hope all the dogs find the right home... w/ you or through you... I can tell you really care. |

People can still be your friends without agreeing with your choices or telling you only things you want to hear. I know that my *best* friends are the ones who honestly give me their opinion from the goodness of their heart whether I want to hear it or not. If I would choose to get defensive about their advice, I'd miss the points they were trying to make. I really wish the OP the best of luck in the situation. I don't think there are any evil or vicious people on YT | |

Addicted seems to be handling everyone's responses just fine. It might not have been the best decision but it's not the end of the world. Whether it's with you or someone else, Duckie and Turtle's owner will find them a good home. Man is adorable. Congratulations!

| Addicted is making a life long decision here. She only signed the contract 8 days before she got the new pup. The owners of the other 2 kept her hanging at least that long. She can't pay for the other 2 until after the holidays anyway so the owners have plenty of time to find them new homes before they ever expected to be paid. I personally would not make a decision to take 2 dogs into my home if I had any second thoughts at all- yes even if I had signed a contract. It's a very big decision and a lifelong commitment. And again, the owners can list them again here (free) and probably sell them and be paid before they would have been paid by addicted. As far as her BF being upset, he had agreed to 2 more dogs. There is a big difference between bringing 2 new dogs into your home and 3 new dogs. I just don't agree with the idea that since she signed the contract she is obligated to follow through if she isn't 100%. Its not fair to addicted and its not fair to the dogs. These are not special needs dogs and the owners would have no trouble finding a new home for Turtle and Duckie. It's not like they've been holding them for her for months.

| I don't know why anyone is confused. You contracted the two yorkies, then told them you didn't have money right now which was alright, then you turned around and bought another dog with money you supposedly didn't have except to pay bills. They held the dogs for you turning other people down and now this. I'm sorry. i think you have treated them bad . |
