| Way to go girls! But, how did you DO it?! My poodle is sooo accustomed to going outside that if we don't let her out in time, she'll potty in the house, regardless of the pads. There were times when she peed & pooped on the carpet, and the pad was right NEXT to it With the rain starting and such, I'd love for her to start using the pads inside the house. |

| As someone who lives in an apartment, believe me when I say you will love the pads. I keep Sadie in the bathroom when I'm not home (no way do I trust her with run of the house). She's got enough room in there, but not too much where she gets in trouble. I laugh at the comments about the rugs...on the few occassions where I have left my rug out in the bathroom, she uses that. So I have to make sure to pick it up every day. And the pads are nice when it's raining out (oh wait...forgot that your girls like to get wet) and at night. I refuse to go out when it gets too late, so it's nice to know she'll use the pad. I live on the bottom floor of my apartments, but wanted to be able to let Sadie out on the patio at times. Being the runner that she is, I knew I'd have to do something so I put up metal chicken wire. What's cool about it is that no one really can tell that it's there unless they get real close and Sadie is safe out there!

| I knew you could do it Good Girls!!Once when I had Molly who was smaller than Crystal and on the 2nd floor I bought a sheet of pexi glass since my condo had rules about such things and apts too want things pretty much the same. Since this stuff was clear you wouldn't even know it was there from the street or from inside for that matter but it did made sure she was safe when she went out on the little porch. You will love it and on these cold mornings in Ohio, I could kiss these pee pads.

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Ladies - when we move I'll be checking BACK on this thread - we're having mostly good luck but the real test will be IN THE apartment - and I didn't know so many had made this kind of move - I agree - apartment living is WAY different than a house and I'm pretty nervous - especially leaving the girls all day long..... BUT we'll make it !my main worry isn't really peeing but crime - I can see it now - I'll be having 20 locks on all doors and windows and won't even be able to get into my own place - LOL (I'm so NOT mechanical) I had trouble just changing an outdoor light the other day and was really missing my husband....he was the one who always did all that 'stuff' Joan - thanks for the plexiglass idea ! You're just full of good ones - when I see those gated balconies (iron) I think SHOOT - Cheri and Chanel would easily squeeze thru - The clear sheet of plexiglass is THE PERFECT Solution and it keeps out the wind too right ?? this has been a huge help ....Thank you ALL !! |

| Yes Villette it kept out the wind and snow, I only did it about half way up since Molly wasn't a jumper. Another nice thing is they can see everything going on outside.

| Great news on the "Girls" and the pee pads! My grandaughter in Denver actually trained her Sheltie to a litter box on the balcony. So funny to see but it worrked!!!!! She lived on the third floor. |
