| Oh my, I have been so busy I haven't been on much this past week and missed this. I would have been half crazy like you must have been too. It sounds like he is better but I noticed one of the last posts asked if he was able to keep food down?? and drink?? Hope that little guy is ok. Hugs, Joan

| Well I went to our little Wild Oats market and they didn't have canned pumpkin. I got organic babyfood sweet potatoes and also bananas. I think I'll go try the sweet potatoes. He drank a lot of water yesterday in the car on the way home from the vet and a little last night. I haven't seen him drink any today but if I give him some from a glass he'll probably drink some. He did pee and poop this morning and it was normal.

| I spoke too soon. The poo in the litter box this morning was normal but I just snuck him into my bedroom to feed him the sweet potatoes without torturing the other dogs and there was a little diarrhea in there. He loved the sweet potatoes. I only let him have 1 or 2 Tbs to test it but he would have gladly eaten the whole jar so his appetite seems fine. I guess he just wasn't ready for dog food this morning. He wouldn't take any water but my husband said he drank some while I was at the store. If he continues to keep the sweet potatoes down I think I'll feed all 3 some chicken and peas for dinner. I'm planning to start home cooking and was just waiting for a book I ordered to come in but I'm sure I'm safe just giving them chicken and veggies for a few days and he'll eat it a lot better than his dog food.

| OH LORD.....Nikki I am so sorry to hear about this. YIKES...poor you, poor Sugar and POOR Lauren I hope she does not blame herself. She is so sweet and I am sure feels horrible. Give her a hug for me and a kiss for Sugar too. I wish you would have called me girl - you know I would have done anything you needed like go to the store for you or even bring over some homecooked meals for him from a batch I made Murphy and Mia. I have just been so busy this weekend with the Holidays I have not been on at all. Sorry, but so happy to hear Sugar is okay. MY lord that must have been so scary. I remember I dropped Murphy when I first got him and it was the scariest thing I have even done. He was screaming and crying and I was a mess too so I know what you felt like. How is he today?

That's the book I ordered. I didn't know you had started cooking. That's awesome! He ate chicken and peas mixed with the leftover sweet potato baby food for dinner and breakfast and kept it down.

So far it has gone pretty well. I thought we discussed this last time Chris and I were over - hee, hee!!! We will have to get together soon to see what tips and recipes we can trade. Have you found all the supplemental stuff yet? I found all of it from Wild Oats but have not found the Kelp powder. I was just about to order all that this weekend but got busy so need to do it this week. Let me know if you found it around town.

I haven't gotten the book yet- hopefully it will arrive tomorrow, so I don't even know what to look for yet. I started mixing human food with dog food Thursday and yesterday was their first full day of all home cooked. I figured I couldn't mess up to badly in the few days it would take for the book to arrive. I'm sure I'll have a million questions so I'm glad you're a month ahead. Susan, you're right, my daughter almost had a heart attack. She said she though he had broken his neck at first because he was laying on his back with his head at such a funny angle. I don't know how she would have handled feeling responsible if anything had happened to him so that's one more reason to thank God he is okay.
