| Groomer for the 1st time I have a little Yorkie Girl!! Today is her first day at the groomer and I have no idea how Yorkie hair should be cut?? She doesn't have thick hair.. she has very silky, thin hair... she's already one and I've always trimmed her.. Any pic's of haircuts?? or things I should ask the groomer? |

| good groomers generally know... but just in case: i always tell mine to cut around the paws, trim the hair around the body, the genitals area, and also they express the anal glands... i also have them trim around the ears and they cut little bangs for when she's not wearing a top knot (you can kinda tell in my avatar) but she also has a top knot... hope this helps!!!

| Ask for a hygiene cut! They cut real short around the bottom so the poo doesn't get stuck!!!!

| What do you want? Short hair? Long hair? If you want long, then tell them. Or else you may end up with a really short cut for the winter...

| Short Or Long? Using Shampoo for Dogs with Black Hair I wish she had long hair... but her hair doesn't really grow and she doesn't really have a lot of hair... I'm hoping the groomer knows.. Do you guys know how I can get her to have a lot more hair and get it to grow? I feed both of my dogs Innova so I don't think its what I'm feeding them? Also, I'm not sure if this is the wrong question..but the hair in her head has turned silvery is there anyway to use a shampoo that will keep her hair dark.. I've seen shampoos for dogs with black hair??? I'f prefer if she stayed black and brown? I still love my baby don't get my wrong!!! :0) I hope no one gets offended by that question.. |
