good groomers generally know... but just in case: i always tell mine to cut around the paws, trim the hair around the body, the genitals area, and also they express the anal glands... i also have them trim around the ears and they cut little bangs for when she's not wearing a top knot (you can kinda tell in my avatar) but she also has a top knot...
