It's when a GREEDER (greedy breeder/dog broker) wants EVERYTHING in your pocketbook - bank account and maybe your first born

all the while telling you that you're getting something RARE & Special.

It is just another tern used to screw innocent people into thinking they have a reason to spend a fortune on a Yorkie. I can't believe the terms I have heard used to try to get more money for their puppies.

I'm not even seeing that they're AKC. I saw one for APRI. Ridiculous people and those poor poor puppies

That's terrible! They didn't look right. As looking on that website I thought to myself, if I see the word teacup one more time I'm going to puke.

I have seen some hefty prices, but I don't think I have seen the 6,000 one. That really shocked me. And I am really ashamed, because they are in the same state and I am in. I believe they are in South Florida, and I am in North Florida. Hopefully people can see through all their mess. (pocketbook puppies) They are still very little, probably 5-6 weeks old or smaller. Well, gotta look around this sight some more. I am so happy I found everyone. And Thank You all for Welcoming me.

A term that reputable breeders use for those wee ones that are small...
Most reputable breeders will not sell these wee lil ones, but place them in homes where the new owners are expierenced in handling wee ones. The reason for this is that these breeders know the possibility exists of more vet bills than usual. That doesn't mean that the wee ones will always have have medical problems.....but, why take the chance of selling heart ache.

A term used by those breeders that are attempting to exploit these wee ones for more money. You will see on various breeder's web sites, that the asking price will increase the smaller the dog is (weight).

The best thing to do is to make the public aware of this type of situation so, they can make an informed decision when searching for their breeder and new puppy to add to their family.

When I was doing my "puppy search" this website came up time and time again. The whole thing just disgusts me... I look at those pictures and the puppies just don't look happy.

I don't understand why one puppy is 750, and another is 6500... Doesn't make any sense to me. Greed has no limits...

Poor puppies, they don't look happy at all. In Mexico one of the phrases I keep hearing is "bolsillo" or purse puppies. Even Tea cup appears all over the place and so does 'micro,' etc. It's not just in the U.S.
