I agree with you, YorkieKids. My Rocky, and Romeo are 6lbs, and 5lbs. I could put them in a "pocketbook" and call them pocketbook dogs. Rosie almost, and she is 7lbs. Guess it all does depend on the size of the pocketbook! LOL !! Those people really need to be shut down. I would like to see it happen.

Its sad that they charge more for dogs that should actually be cheaper. They target people who think their dog is worth more simply because they paid more.

I thought my Ava was a pocketbook yorkie. She is only 11 months and I can honestly say that everytime we go to the petstore my pocket book is a lot lighter. But when she asks if she can have a new shirt or a new treat, I just can't say no.

plus she looks so cute when she begs for it.

Or just a term to get more money, maybe they feel teacup and micro-sized, or whatever terms that are used are played out. I can't wait for someone to say "I want a pocketbook yorkie" or "is that a pocketbook yorkie""

i was looking through today... i just like to look at pictures of yorkies as silly as that may sound and when i saw 6,500!!! my jaw dropped! not to mention the pocket size and teacup. its sad that people fall for that if you're going to spend the rest of your life with your new puppy the LEAST you can do is READ UP ON THE BREED!! err!! not to mention they LIE and make up these names to put this type of price on it... but it evem states NO champion bloodline... are you insane?! WHO IN THERE RIGHT MIND IS GOING TO PAY THAT MUCH?! poor puppies

HAHA! I've dealt with that breeder before. She is really pricey for her pups. Also, she was really rude to me when I started asking questions about the parents and health of the yorkies.
