| My little Gracie is a lot darker than Lillie ever was when I got her. Gracie's hair is also very thick and when we got her it was a bit curly. I could not believe it - since Lillie has such straight thin hair. Here is a picture of Gracie now at 4.5 months old. I cannot wait to see what she looks like as she gets older - I am hoping she stays a little darker too.

| Oh Patti, your two have the most adorable faces!!!...What dolls!! Missy,I know it's not the correct way, but the way Baby Bear's colors are so inter-mixed all over like that is so beautiful!

That's not the case here either. In fact, one of Max's sisters is blonder than he is and her coat is the wooly one and sort of thin too. My girlfriend, who adores Max's sister, always remarks how much nicer Max's coat is than his sissie's. Here's Max:

Actually, thats not true. The standard calls for a yorkie to be a dark steel blue (not black and not silver) and tan. Gold is a lighter color..tan is the darker color. So Yorkies should stay pretty dark according to the standard...just shouldn't stay Black..but become a dark blue
