| A dumb question about a winter coat Some of you may think this is a dumb question but I need some help with a winter coat. I have noticed that lots of you are posting about your furbabies new winter coat. When you take your furbabies out to potty do you put their coat on each time? Or do they just wear it when out for a walk? All this talk about winter coats has me worried that each time I take Buddy out to potty that he is getting too cold. I am also worried about his little feet getting too cold. He does not seem to be bothered by the colder weather but I need to hear from some of my YT'er pals on when your furbabies are wearing their coats.

| I just put one on for walks. In the winter they usually have hoodies on and they just go out in those when they go potty

| When it's really cold (especially if there is snow) I always put their coats or sweaters on. I go outside with them and usually try to get them running around for some exercise. They LOVE the snow. I haven't tried booties on them before but this yr I am going to try them.

I do the same too. I tend to put sweater and jacket each time I bring Pao out for a walk when it gets really cold in the winter.

| Not a dumb question at all!!! My girls wear flannel nighties in the winter and have at least those on when going outside to potty before bed (if they get up at night) and first thing in the morning. We keep the house fairly cool, so they always have a sweater or dress on during the winter days. I keep the coats by the backdoor and when it gets really cold, those go on as well every time they go out to potty.

| Thanks guys!!!!!! Ya'll have been a huge help!!! I think I will keep his coat handy for really cold nights and mornings. Right now he does not seem to mind the cold too much but it really hasn't gotten that cold yet. The PJ's & sweaters are good idea too!!! Thanks so much!!

| I can understand the need for both coat and sweater in Canada!!! Brrrrrr!!! The weather here can get really cold occasionally. Usually a heavy sweater or a thick hoody is great for cold days when they go outside for potty breaks. We have a few coats that we use (if it is bitter cold), but the sweaters and hoodies are much more comfy.

| Mine get theirs on whenever they are outside and it is cold. Poor Turbo gets sooo cold he shakes so bad he can't pee! So, he def. needs one. Callie, seems to be a little fluffier than him and doesnt get as cold. But where I live, it is sooo wet and cold here in the winter, mine need their jackets (hubby used to think clothes and jackets were silly, then he took me to buy Turbo a jacket for his first winter cuz he was so worried about him being cold!).

| My lil girl wears a sweater eveyday (inside) now that it is getting chilly. She wears her coat when she goes out for walks.
