I can understand the need for both coat and sweater in Canada!!! Brrrrrr!!!
The weather here can get really cold occasionally. Usually a heavy sweater or a thick hoody is great for cold days when they go outside for potty breaks.
We have a few coats that we use (if it is bitter cold), but the sweaters and hoodies are much more comfy.
