no, i don't think i want it that long. i have been around dogs with that length and it just doesn't seem right for maggie. i have been around dogs with the length i am talking about and that just seems perfect. one of the yorkie owners with this length said she has it cut so that it kinda "curls" under so that it looks like it is hugging his belly. it was so pretty!!! long...yet not too long. that is what i am shooting for like i said...it is almost there. tomorrow i will try and get some good pics of her with her new cut...that shows her body as well. right now she is passed out on the chair

I leave the hair on the body long but trim Lola's face and chin hair. If you look on my dogster page you can probably see what I'm talking about. I leave it longer than her chin by an inch or two but not too much and no beard. That way I can still do bows and barrettes, she has the beautiful long coat but still looks puppy-ish in the face. It's still much longer than a puppy cut on her head though. More of a teenage growth. I had been considering growing it all out this winter.
