| I saw this and wanted to add that I adopted a Yorkie boy according to person that had him he is about 4 years old. He is bald on his entire back and back of the neck, also his ears and bottom of his rear legs other then that he seems very healthy. |

| I can not view the post but wondering if it could be alopecia if it only where the blue color would come in on the coat? I have seen different breeds with the Alopecia but I do not believe I have seen a Yorkie that way before. |

| I know this is old but reminded me of what started me on my Yorkie obsession. My favorite singer Stevie Nicks has always had Yorkies, they're her thing. She spent thousands on this little AKC show quality Yorkie puppy ages ago, as it got older she noticed it balding and spent thousands more at the vet testing it for cancer, alopecia, and other illnesses. Turns out the fancy schmancy breeder also bred Chinese Crested's too and one of them got to her yorkie momma. Stevie didn't ask for any money back, she loves her just the same and was just happy she wasn't sick. She tells this story all the time to explain her little hairless yorkie Sulamith, who is now 17 and is like the light of her life. She was the first yorkie I ever met, and turned me onto the breed. Can you imagine how embarrassing that is for the breeder that the world knows she sold a mixed breed hairless puppy as a purebred yorkie for thousands of dollars to a rock star? Easy mistake, but still. Embarrassing. lol |

| YT 1000 Club Member | This is what my daughters new puppy is. A yorkie and Chinese Crested mix (the Powderpuff variety with hair though). We will see what it looks like as it matures. At least I am going into this knowing it is a mix of the two though.
