Max slept in his crate until he was trained. Now he sleeps with me. Gracie Leigh is in her ex-pen and once she's trained, she'll be sleeping with me too.

Max is paper and outside trained and Gracie Leigh will also go the same route, so
there's no problem.

..........I did what Tink's mom did......had the crate on the bed til he was potty trained ....now two of them sleep on the bed along w any of the cats that choose to join them but my chihuahua sleeps in a crate next to the bed w a cover over the crate....and it's a good thing for the rest of us because you dare to wake her up from her siesta and she goes ballistic!!!!!!!!.....but like siera said whatever works for you and whatever they are comfortable with....what have you tried and how are they adjusting?

Koda sleeps in her bed next to mines, she is to come w me around 6 am, like a clock, But she got used to her bed and I prefer her to because I am afraid of letting her stay in the bed with me
