| Poopy eatting Puppy Buzz has been good in the whole wee pad training but..... Im having two major issues. One is he likes to go on the wee wee pad take a few steps off and finishes off the pad Arg! The other MAJOR one is the poop eating issue. He Eats it when not being watched. I have found him running around with it in his mouth. There was one day we went out after giving him his Flea meds and some peanut butter and he barfed on me in the car. OMG it stunk of pure S*%#! I was almost sick to my stomach. What can I do to make him STOP! I read to sprinkle curry on the poop but cant hurt my baby. Help Please Liz |

| Eating Poop I noticed my puupy started eating poop at abot 6 months when she lost most of her baby teeth. At that time she quit eating her dry food well. I started wetting her dry food with warm water and adding a little wet food. She ate much better and quit eating poop. |

| Rebel was eating his poop when we first got him. It was the most disgusting thing ever! There is a remedy called Deter. It is a pill you give them once a day. The technical term for poop eating is copraphagia. The pills are fermented vegetable extract. They taste good to dogs so there's no problem getting them to take them. It worked like a charm for us. He stopped immediately. We ordered it from http://www.petfooddirect.com. It was $7.20 and about $6.00 for shipping. It was well worth $13.00 to cure the nasty problem!

| i got these pills at petsmart...they might be deter but im not 100% sure of the name. but anyways they really worked for my roman. after a couple weeks of giving them those pills he has completely stopped eating his poop. the pills r pretty cheap and they last for a while because he only needed 1/4 of the pill a day. he liked the taste too so it wasnt hard to give. the guy at petsmart who showed me the pills said that they dont always work, just depends of the dog. he also said u could sprinkle meat tenderizer on the food which apparently doesnt taste good after it comes back out.

Anyway, I have tried everything under sun with no luck to stop this completely. People say to sprinkle meat tenderizer - but it is actually the msg that is in it that is suppose to stop them from eating poop, so you can just buy at your food store the seasoning called ACCENT, just sprinkle some ontop of his food, every day and see if that helps. Cheaper than any other product. BEST OF LUCK!! | |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I used Solid Gold's S.E.P. (stop eating poop) for about a month w/ Wylie - worked like a charm and he's never eaten crap since.
