| HELP Getting Pee out of Rug?? Ok this is a HUGe issue for my mom and I as were trying to get our condo ready to sell but we just can't with my mom's rug. I swear its FULL of pee! From my old Yorkie who passed away and now from Mickey. He's a male and every time he runs in there he just had to pee. SO now its just gross in there and we don't have the money to rip it out and get a knew one as my mom's room is from the back to the front of the house and is HUGE. So I was wondering what can we do just to sell the house? I know the new owners will rip up the carpet but its buliders carpet ugly cream color I'm also worried about moving because in my room and the hallway I ripped up the carpet and put down floor. When we move we will be renting so we can't do that. I've tried puppy pad's with him but he just ripps them up. He's going to be 3 and I walk him but I am not always home. Anyways the big concern right now is the rug I'll have to battle the other after. Any suggetions? I've tried almost every product out there to try and get the pee up and nothing worked. I dont know what else to do. |

| I have not tried this yet, but someone on here said to try the regular formula Windex glass cleaner. Do a search for Windex. If that does not work, try calling a professional carpet cleaner.

| I couldn't figure it out so we came up with the perfect solution... Ripped out all the carpet and switched to tile! Good luck!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I just had the 1 year old carpet professionaly cleaned by sears and paid extra for the pet eliminator treatment. It smelled so good in the house for 1 week now I can smell it again. I don't think you can ever get it out as it sits on the pad below.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I hate to break it to you - but the carpet and padding need to be replaced - especially the padding - you'll never get the smell out if it's happend alot... |

| It sounds as though you haven't been consistent with his potty training. It's tough to potty train if you are gone all day. As far as peeing...... put a belly band on him. Hopefully, he'll get the message and even if he doesn't, he won't be peeing all over the house. |

| Try Kid's N Pets If it's as bad as you say then you will probably never get rid of the smell, but as for the stains go try Kid's n Pets! I bought it at Wal-Mart yesterday and I think it works very well on stains. I put it on some of Sophies accidents and I tried to smell it today and I can't smell any urine. It contains powerful synergistic (meaning working together) formula of high speed natural liquid enzymes, isopropyl alcohol, surfactants (thats a detergent), water and nautral citrus scent. The great thing is it can be used on almost everything. Anyway you can read about it on amazon.com and there are lots of good reviews on the product!!! Also it can be diluted to use in a carpet cleaning machine!!! So hope this can help for selling your condo. Ohhh and by the way it's only 5 bucks for 32 ounces!!!! |
