| Serious Guidance Needed Hello everyone! I just got my yorkie friday night. She is 8 months old and already thinks I'm her mommy!!! Few issues that I was wondering if I could get any feedback about however: The breeder says she's potty pad trained, she went once in the living room, and twice in the kitchen next to the potty pad but not on it. Thats fine I know she's adjusting. But after dinner i made her stay in the kitchen and an hour later she still hadn't went and she drank soooo much water. I took her outside for 30min still she didn't go even though i said go potty and would ignore her. Finally at 4:15am she was rustling in her crate so I quickly took her to the potty pad but she didn't go. I took her outside and she went immediately. Is she going to go on the potty pad when I'm not home to take her out on the weekends. When i go home today i will see if she A)stayed in the kitchen or jumped over the gate (again), she seemed to be having anxiety attacks when I left, wouldn't eat breakfast (even out of my hand) and didn't go potty. Much help needed please! Thanks |

| welcome!!! well i think it is very understandable that a) she is jumping over the gate b) she isn't eating and c) she isn't peeing or pooping where you want... she was with someone for 8 months and now suddenly her little world is turned upside down.. give her a bit... it is going to take a long while to adjust to her new home... |
