welcome!!! well i think it is very understandable that a) she is jumping over the gate b) she isn't eating and c) she isn't peeing or pooping where you want... she was with someone for 8 months and now suddenly her little world is turned upside down.. give her a bit... it is going to take a long while to adjust to her new home...
