| Pooping problems Pippin has never seemed to use her potty pads for pooping. We have a 7 month old Sheltie now and she won't poop on the potty pads. We also have had that old problem of them preferring to potty on carpet instead of the pad.. which is right there all the time. Our sheltie actually seems to be getting better than my Yorkie. My son crated his miniature Schnauzer and has never had problems with her. My husband and I are softies and don't really want to crate them. Pippin is two years old. Does anyone think crating would solve our problem? We do take them outside but I work 8 hours a day and have a half hour commute. My hubby is retired and has a part time job. He isn't really diligent about watching them when he is home. I will take all advice. Does anyone have a Yorkie who is accident free? I want to talk to you! Thanks in advance!

Well I was so angry at ours for not making the pad, and then one day I caught them... They do start on the pad, but in their "spin" as they poop they manage to "spin" right off the pad.
