Crate advice for you. If you have a crate that has two doors on it - don't forget to close both of them when you put your baby in it! Today for the first time, I let Tink have the entire crate. Removed the divider, put in a new fleece liner and her new blanket, some toys and a couple of treats. Kissed her goodbye and shut the door behind her. Turned on the radio and went out the door to work. Came home about 4 hours later and there is Tink ensconsed upon my rocking chair with her bully stick that she got out of the basket. She barked hi and came over to jump all over me like she hadn't seen me for weeks! I ran over to see how she got the crate unlocked and realized I forgot to lock the other end that used to be behind the divider. DUH! UI'm happy to say, there were no accidents or messes to clean up. One poo on the pad and two pees on the pad. No torn paper or garbage cans turned over. YEAH! Not gonna trust her to do the same tomorrow. But I'm very proud of her!

Well, at least she didn't poo on the carpet and roll in it this time!!! She must have thought she really had it made - free for the day! She sounds like a sweetheart to me. Those kennels with two doors - I've left one open before too. One of my dogs can open the kennel door. Luckily she rarely does it.

If she was really good she would have heard you coming and returned to her crate! That way she could have had free run of the house everyday until you figured out you left the back door open! My first puppy jumped out of his playpen, pooped on the floor and jumped back in...now, who did he think I was going to blame that on? He was the only puppy in the house!
