| I sleep better when Zoey is asleep right under my chin, I feel secure knowing she's there. |

Heck! I'm so used to sleeping on six inches of bed that I'd be lost if I had space to move around on. There are no "rules"...you just want your little one to be safe. If you have a high bed, you'll need stairs so that they won't be trying to jump down and possibly break something. Take care and have fun cuddling with your yorkie!

| I understand that SOME TIMES you might need the bed to be dog free... lol. But umm, not sure how you could do that without upsetting the pup. You could try crating your puppy on those nights, but she won't be used to it and she'll more than likely cry through the night.

| I think it's really up to you and what you want. My dogs sleep with me. I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't have any "alpha" issues with them. They know I'm boss lol

| I have 4 dogs and 3 sleep in the bed at night (2 yorkies, a Maltese). They all know who the "alpha" is. I say follow what you are comfortable with. Not following the "rules" is not always a bad thing.
