| I guess I got lucky with Pip, she's been exceptionally good. I taught her the word "no" early on, having learned the value of it with my previous dog, a Boxer. She's a bit headstrong, doesn't always come when I call, but overall she's really well behaved. I established who was running things early on, and after having one time of her having an anxiety issue while I was at work, there's been no more. I'd been falling into the habit of revolving my world around her and she began to think she was alpha. I took the hard steps of showing her she WASN'T, and now we're both happier. |
