| Good day For those of you who didn't read my last post, my neighbor confronted me yesterday about Mochas barking.. she was really nice about it but at the same time I feel so bad.. Anyway, last night, instead of keeping her crate in the kitchen, i brought it in my room, turned it so she could see me, and put a blanket over it.. Usually when I put her to sleep she cries and cries.. I got her in her crate without a problem, I stayed up to watch tv and she was laying calmly and went to sleep and guess what, when my alarm went off at 6:00 she woke up with it, streched and didn't whimper... I thought it was because she went through the night without going to the potty (she usually barks when she goes, not let warn me that she needs to go).. She spent the morning with me without barking as i did my routine... She didn't bark until I left at 7:40!! I am so proud of her... I gave her treats, hugs, and kisses... i hope that the neighbors appricated that.. Anyway, off to shop for my secretpal *****. See you later

| Good job, Mocha!!! We put one of Toto's crates on a small chest next to our bed with a little nightlight. She only barked once [at naptime] and I tapped on the metal part of the crate and she never did it again! She very seldom barks anyway, but if she does we simply tell her "no bark" and she doesn't! We read in one of our books that when they do something that you don't like ... simply do something that they don't like!!

| Once again, Mocha was a good girl tonight... She was playing with my boyfriend and me and she stopped and went over to her pad and went poo poo... Then about 20 minutes later, same thing, she stopped playing and went to the pad across the room and went pee and then just a couple of minutes ago, she went into her crate (i leave it opened when I am home) and she went pee on the paper part (not her bed) and came out!! I am so proud of her!! Mochas says "Woof Woof" which is her way of saying thank you!!

| How old is Mocha now? Maybe I should move Maggie's crate to the bedroom. Right now it's in the kitchen with her food, water, toys etc. She loves to take naps in her crate. We have a baby gate up on the kitchen door. She will play and then climb into her crate. My problem is that she WON'T cry. I have to wake her up and remind her it's time to pee. Sometimes I go into a sleep coma, and she will pee on her winkle pad. Does anybody know about what age they are when they can make it all night without using the bathroom. It's true Maggie is only 10 weeks old, and that's young to make it all night. I'm old and I can't make it either. |

| Maggie and I started a new trend today. Each time she PP or Poo Pooed outside, she got a treat when she came in. Have you even seen a baby go PP every 10 minutes. I think she caught onto that treat thing too fast. I was using that Natural Balance Dog Food Roll--cut up into pencil eraser size for her treats. If she keeps this up, she will weigh 10 pounds by the time she is 6 months old. |

| Maggie and Toto should be on the "Honor Roll" for pad training!! When Toto realized that using the pad netted a treat ... she would run to the pad and "squeeze" out about a quarter sized spot every few minutes!! We were using Honeycomb cereal broken into four little pieces at the time ... her little pee pee "game" stopped after she got a little older and the spots got much larger and less frequent! Who outsmarted who? She still gets a tiny treat for going ... comes and lets us know there's a surprise on the pad!!
