| Multiple Yorkie Potty Help Finally got our second yorkie, so we have Baloo who is 20 weeks and pretty surefire with pad training (90%), and our new girl Belle who is 21 weeks old and have had her 3 days. Our breeder is a friend of ours who had been working on pad training her and she was doing ok. Since she has been at our house, its like she does not know what they are. She is old enough where she only pees a few times a day, and poops only about twice. She has never once gone on a pad, even if we put her there and wait like 10 minutes. Usually, we end up holding her on the pad about 10 minutes, play 2 minutes, go back to the pad for about 10 minutes, etc..but she never goes on the pad, never really sniffs at it like she might think about going, and always ends up running off to play (after we wait 10 minutes and let her go) and then peeing after a couple of laps of "chase" with Baloo. It is so frustrating because we haven't even had the chance to reward her for going on the pad, which is the only way we know how to train her. The frustrating part today was she went pee, we caught her, moved her to the pad, she stood around and waited to leave, and then she went like a minute later after we figured she didn't have to go anymore. Will she not pee on the same pad as him? Anyone have any suggestions? |

| When my three yorkies first got together in the same room, I had one pad in the corner which my 2-year old yorkie used. I then noticed that the 2 new yorkies sniffed it and went to pee in the other corners of the room. So I put pads in the other 2 corners of the room which the new yorkies used. Everyday I was moving the pads closer to each other and all three pads will still get soiled, so that eventually the 3 pads where in one corner of the room next to each other. My yorkies have learned to share 3 pads, but they just pee in different areas or corners of the pad. They never go on the same spot. |
