				 | Congratulations....Bella is a puppy school drop out LOL I had to pull her. The class at Petsmart had ALL large breed dogs and I mean LARGE and I was really concerned for her safety. I talked to the manager and they gave me a refund The state K9 training center is in the town I live so I am going to try there at least they have classes based on bread size

				 | Tammy, I know what you mean! For most of our classes, there were at least 1-2 other smaller dogs there so we could get some safe off-leash socialization. We had several lab & golden pups, too, which most of the time were ok (one time a chocolate lab went after Max & I had to lift him up by the harness to get him out of there fast!)...and really only one (a Weimer with a jerk of an owner) made me feel uncomfortable. One really funny thing...when our class was working on "leave it", as in when we're walking along & there's something in the path that looks interesting & we want Max to ignore it & keep on walking...the big-dog owners would walk past me & Max, using "leave it" with their dogs to not go after Max. There was 1 dog in particular that didn't grasp the concept with treats or toys, but she finally caught on once they started using us as the bait. LOL
