WoooHoooooooooooo we made it through Puppy Kindergarten!! 1 Attachment(s) Max had graduation from puppy K last night. We had a really cute trick to share with the class (my husband plays fetch with him every night, Max has a stuffed Care Bear that's nearly as big as he is, but he'll run after it, then hop up in dh's lap & drop it so he can throw it again.) BUT Max wouldn't do it in front of everyone...so we had to switch gears at the last minute, and Max danced so well for everyone! He was spinning around & hopping up & down...everyone clapped & cheered for him. It was awesome! The trainer had caps & gowns for everyone to wear for pictures, and passed out diplomas, too. We were the only small dog there, amidst a group of lab & retriever puppies...hehehe...I had to help them wrestle the cap & gown on their guys, as they just weren't familiar with putting clothes on them. ROFLMAO It was a FUN night! |
Where did he go to puppy Kindergarten!! Congratulations!! We are just starting Starsky in a puppy class in 2 weeks! Can't wait!! |
Congrats Max! Well Done! Jane never went to Puppy Kindergarten btu I am sure it probably would have did her some good. |
OMG, that picture is PRICELESS! I'd have it blown up and framed! MAX looks so cute!!!!!! :) Way to go MAX!!! You look well educated!!! |
School Time Congratulation Max!!!! Where was the location of the school. How old was he when he went to school? Maggie is 2 1/2 months old, and needs school. I work with her every day, but it seems like she is learning more bad habits faster than I can teach her good ones. |
How cute is that picture!!!!!! Wexy is pwoud of you!!!!!!! :congrats: :good job: :yorkietal |
Way to go, Max! :animal-sm |
Congratulations Max! Sounds like you stole the show ;) |

Bailey went to his 2nd night of school last night,,,, the first night he hid under the chair ( all big dogs also) and then last night , he was all feisty and barked and growled at the big black dog beside us,,, , From one extreme to the next... God only knows what next week will be like! Congrats to you guys ! |
Thanks everyone! Max has training classes at Happy Clean & Smart, which is a doggie daycare, store, grooming, boarding, & training place all in one. Max will be 7 months old in a few days, and we've been going to class for about a month. They generally recommend starting earlier than Max did. LOL So, I'm sure you could really benefit from taking your dog that still just a couple of months old...it will definitely help with potty training! The most helpful thing we've learned in class is to be consistent. No matter what commands or hand signals you use, be sure to use the same thing each time. For instance, if you want him to get off the furniture, teach him "off", but be sure to say "off" every time, not "down" or "MAX!" or anything else. We've learned sit, down, stand, take it, drop it, leave it, loose-leash walking, up, off, walk it (Max was scared to walk up & down steps at first, but now he's no problem at all.), and the some tricks like shake, roll over (which Max hasn't gotten yet LOL), dance, etc... The next group of classes will deal with "manners" like stay & heal. I think we're going to wait a few weeks to start another round of classes, to give Max (read that: ME) time to really master what we've learned so far. |
Way to go Max. I bet your mom and dad are so proud of you. |
Congratulations on your graduation!! Well done! |
What a darling picture...Max...and you...can be proud! I'm checking into some dog training around here. One place that is really good, I've heard, kick dogs out if they aren't behaving, so I'm thinking...hmmm...wonder how long we'd be in the class. LOL |
Congrats Im taking Pebbles on may 25 to get her classes and they do the same graduation thing Isnt it cute!:) |
Woo Hoo congrats graduate  . I wonder if they have obedience for children lol just kidding  . |
