| Personal Trainer in San Diego, CA Hi, Does anyone have any suggestions on personal trainers in the San Diego area? We have seen that they offer training classes at PetSmart, but our Achilles is so small, that he is a bit intimidated by the larger, more vocal dogs. Also, majority of the time, since he is so tiny, the other dogs trample on him... which freaks me and him out TREMENDOUSLY! Anyhow, any suggestions would be great! Thank you in advance! |

| Sometimes PetSmart will offer a "small dogs" class. You might want to see if your PetSmart will offer soemthing like that.

| If you find one let me know. I took Roxie to the PetSmart Training class and it really wasn't worth it to me. JMO- though because I am sure there are people who loved it. It was great to socialize, but other then that I didn't learn much. Most of the things they taught, she already knew how to do. I needed help with the barking (tried the coins in a can & water), separation anxiety, and licking the toes.

However, we have found a really good trainer in La Jolla. His name is Cameron and he works at Petsmart. Now, this isn't the normal Petsmart group training. This is one on one instruction, and its $200 for 8 weeks of instruction. If you cant make the session, he will do the training without you there and show you all of the taugt behaviors when you pick your dog up. Check it out... | |
