we didn't get anything accomplished there either. our puppy was being smothered by bigger puppies and we hardly received any instruction. the majority of the night was spent listening to grooming tactics and "socialization." needless to say, we asked for our money back.
However, we have found a really good trainer in La Jolla. His name is Cameron and he works at Petsmart. Now, this isn't the normal Petsmart group training. This is one on one instruction, and its $200 for 8 weeks of instruction. If you cant make the session, he will do the training without you there and show you all of the taugt behaviors when you pick your dog up. Check it out...
