breeder Karmaistrue...the breeder charged you for the GAS to drive the puppy to the airport. I am sure if yiu had met her inperson your would have seen dollar signs in the iris's of her eyes....nothing more needs to be said about the type of breeder you are dealing with...take your own advise..Karma is true..what goes around, comes around... I, for one, think you got a raw deal. You are owned some money returned for a parasite infested puppy...but now that you have him, he should be okay with vet care and your love..best wishes.. |
It is too late to mention whether or not you should have bought Chewy. You obviously thought you could trust this breeder, you wrote her praises when you thought all was good. We all make mistakes and I bet your statement on her site you would take down if you could. Symptoms of certain conditions can be missed for the first few months, not your fault at all, it happens. Its obvious this dog was neglected by all the conditions it has, treatable or not it does not matter. Neglect to care for a puppy is abuse IMO. This breeder is a member here and has not even posted since trying to sell pups. Its obvious she doesnt care to step in here and explain her side if there is one. Chewy was paid for, flight was reserved, Gia was found with the problem. I would not doubt if you had told the breeder not to send him that you wanted your money back, she would have ignored it all. Chewy wouldve been shipped regardless, sitting in an airport waiting to be picked up by someone. She got her money, what she wanted and wanted to be rid of Chewy and his problems. Sorry you are having to deal with this. You should have been sent a healthy puppy, enjoying your time with him, being able to have all the puppies play together without restrictions. This is the joy of getting a new puppy and what is going on now is unfair to you and to them. Thank goodness he has you and your family now. |

   I too don't know all the facts here but it sounds like a bit of overreaction to me- Most puppies are some what subdued when moved to new surroundings until they have time to figure it out- you need to remember he has only known one place and now everything is strange to him. as to him smelling when arriving- DUH- he is a baby -scared , in a strange place but still must pee and poop- he doesn't know about showering before meeting new folks !!!! Sorry but as a breeder - this was a very quick rush to judgement and it just gets others fired up when the whole set of facts has not been disclosed. All thats required now is for him to be loved and cuddled for a few days and he will forget he ever knew any place except your kind loving arms. Even my puppies that I play with and handle daily and run around my kitchen under my feet will cower when a stranger comes in and picks one up- They need time to adjust - some more than others- they are just like us people - we all have our limits for meeting new people as to how quick we feel comfortable. Sorry to be so long winded but I feel you just need to love on him and all will be fine and it does not mean he was abused before!!!!!!! |
pup If anyone has to treat a pup with demodex perhaps they can tell us if she is overreacting...do you know how serious a health problem it can be?...if it occurs as an adult it can be fatal...!!!! I have taken grooming clients dogs in to my vet for demodex diagnois...what a nightmare...one 4 month old had a seizure after being dipped the second time, vomited all night. Pups poop in the carrier, they get smelly, they can be scared after a long flight..but the breeder sent a pup with problems a simple vet check could have detected..and now no response..anyone would be upset, I would. If the breeder had a cert from her vet all was well, then she needs to change vets. |

His skin rash goes from his stomach to his thighs the pics aren\'t the best but I tried. Friday the rash looked way worse but the antibiotics are helping to clear it up. And here\'s Gia we caught her demodex in time so hers is not that bad And my other baby Leia |
