| Thats terrible that your pup had all those roblems and even worse that the breeder is a breeder on here. You should do a thread on this in breeder reviews so no one else purchases a dog from her

| [QUOTE=feminvstr]In all due respect the title on your thread is very a matter of fact, because your puppy is scared and submissive does not mean the breeder abused him this is a very strong accusation. He could simply have a reserved personality and scared from transition. I agree 100% with you . My little Jade was extremely well treated at the previous owner's home . She was a little shy when she arrived at my home . I gave her the time to adjust and now she is well adjusted . |

| Donating YT 14K Club Member | How sad that this puppy has all of these physical conditions. Give him time to adjust. I know that the question of possible abuse came up when I sold my last pup. Everyone that knows me knows that I spoil my babies to death...plus, he'd always been a little reserved. It took him about a week to adjust to his new environment and now has made the house his own and really came out of his shell.

| sorry I didnt see your original post... I didnt see the demodex, your breeder should pay for all your vet bills or give you a replacement puppy. Is you vet sure it is demodex? Some cases are caused by stress and malnourishment other are genetically immune depressed pups that inherited the immune deficiencies.

| I hope your little guy is o.k. I have a female that I kept out of my last litter due to a soft spot in her skull the vet said to sell her about 3 months old if she wasn't running in walls, She does not run into walls she is a heathy 5 month (she was at the vet last month for a check up) You can see her in my avatar her name is SunShine she does like anyboby BUT me if anyone trys to pet her she runs to me, No she hasn't had the health prombles yours has and I'm so sorry your little one is so sick. It take's time for these little one to it use to you. Best Wishes Oh she will let my husband pet her and she still has the soft spot. I have had ppl try to buy her and my answer is always the same NO she is not for sale.

| Iam not trying to find fault in your posting but merely pointing out that it appears you have a past with this breeder, you purchased your first yorkie from her months ago (female) and now another, Chewy...by now I would think you would have a good relationship with this breeder, is this not true? | This is what an ethcial breeder does with a shy or timid pup...you tell the potential buyer you have a sweet baby who is not as outgoing as some...needs more attention and love...You do not sell a pup without going into great detail about the temperment and general disposition. It has been a long time since I had a shy baby, but I have had a few and most come around with love and time...believe me there is a pet lover for every baby...so you take your time to find the right home..and be up front about everything. |

| http://carteryorkies.com/AvailablePuppies.html from your breeders website site We love to get email! This letter is from Jasmine and Max's first litter. Candy reserved her girl before it was born. "Gia is such a cute dog, potty training has taken a big turn & she now is doing great with it. Everyone loves her to death, I mean I never knew I could love a dog this much. Gia right now weighs 1.8, well that was her weight last week. she's still small as ever though she seems to be getting a little taller. And she's so spunky but when we go out she is very shy & quite.. She's very attached to everyone especially me. Hopefully we'll be able to get one of her brothers but if someone scoops them up before I get to them, do you plan on breeding Max & Jasmine again? I would love one from the two of them again (they make beautiful pups)..Lucky Candy did get her boy, too. You can see Gia in her cute outfits on our pages. I was thinking about rescuing, but the truth is I love to see them grow. Gia changes every week, it's something different. She is completely blond on her little face & her little K9 teeth are visible now. The bond is very special when you raise a Yorkie puppy. They are so smart, they become a family member. Everywhere I go, people want to know where I got her from. I must have given out your web site a dozen times already. www.carteryorkies.com I will keep you posted with Gia's progress as she grows, she goes for her last set of puppy shots next week & shes going for her professional pictures next month (I'll send you one). Have a great day." Candy Thanks, Candy, you made my day! Ms. Lisa

| Candy it also appears your other yorkie (Gia) has demodex and you knew this before you got the second one from the same breeder... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...t=55860&page=2 Oh my Gosh !!!! Gia has demodex mite the doctor was explaining it to me, but to be honest I really don't know what it is (i'm about to read up on it). I'm so hurt, I broke down in the vet office I had to leave her at the vet until 5pm today she has to get special baths & take antibiotics. She will have to go for those special baths every two weeks until it clears up. worst case scenario her hair is going to have to be shaved off . But as long as she's alight I don't care The vet said it was good I brought her in, I'm going to go there from now on I was suppose to be getting Gia's brother this Friday but the vet told me to hold off because he could end up with the same problem because they are from the same litter If anyone knows more about this demodex mite please let me know what to expect & what i should do

| I believe a puppy would smell after a long flight. Regarding his personality, perhaps he is a little shy and of course you must consider that you are a stranger to him and everything is new in your home. Regarding all your questions: why don't you talk directly to the breeder? A responsible breeder should have sent all the info (including name of the food he/she was feeding him). Just a thought.
