| ![]() The trainer uses the clicker training and she trains dogs for shows. Our vet set she is excellent, so we feel good about it. We will be bringing our 4 month old puppy Wrigley and our 4 1/2 old Yorkie Poo named Crosley. We want the training to be positive! Wrigley will also be going to a puppy kindergarten class! |

| ![]() Totally appreciate all the info I'm finding here. I too looked into BarkBusters as well as a few other trainers suggested by the vet and a friend who has been involved in dog clubs-training, breeding, obedience-for over 50 years now and still haven't decided upon a training plan. It's mostly my indecision over group vs private classes. My first dog and I went to group classes (20+ yrs ago) and weren't very successful so I'm leaning away from group classes but individual training is very expensive. Petsmart may be the way to go as soon as I can get the puppy to stop pooping in the car! I'm working on de-sensitizing him to the car right now. Poor baby is scared. ![]() |
