![]() From my experience I would say that eventually she would grow out of it with time . Also give her plenty of exercise and walk her a lot . I live in an apartmeent complex and today since it was rainng a lot i could;t take royce out for his walk so what i did is I played with him in the hallway and made him run really fast for a couple of minutes olaying with his ball and when we returned home he was exhausted . Good luck

![]() Bailey went through a stage of barking during the night when she was younger. She is very protective and every little noise set her off.( deer walking by, coyotes howling, pinecones hitting the roof, the wind, etc) She also hates to be kenneled and gets very upset being locked up to the point where we were afraid she would hurt herself. We put her in our 16 year old daughter's room when she was younger, who plays her music all night. (how she sleeps we'll never know) we also went to the fabric store and bought her some fleece and made her her own blanket to sleep on, on the bed. She also has a canopy bed on the floor that she will occasionally sleep in. We also kept the door shut (so she wouldn't wander around) and put her litterbox in there with her. She really wants to sleep with us, so she doesn't bark at night now (unless the kids are coming in late) we can keep our door ajar now so she can get down to go potty and come back to bed. I would spend some time playing with her before bed to tire her out, also try using rescue remedy to calm her down before bed. A drop or 2 in her water bowl. My vet said it is safe to use everyday, ask your vet about it. I use it on Bailey once a week to go to her training class. I don't use a crate because of the anxiety it causes Bailey, Bailey also hates the dark so we use night lights around the house and in the laundry room where her food and litterbox are. Hope some of this helps. Michele & Bailey ![]()

![]() I mentioned that my pup has slept with me from the first night on. He really never did wet the bed - and has always slept through the night. But - when he first worke up in the morning = I immediately took him outside - and then if we want to - we could go back to bed for hours more. I don't know why - but my dog's favorite thing in the world is to sleep with someone. **** It might be worth a try - you may end up having to try several different things - and this would just be one. **** I really do believe that because I let my dog sleep with me - which kept him from ever barking or crying at night - that this is why he doesn't bark to this day. It's almost like he never has any reason to do it. My other dog doesn't bark either. Good luck - Carol Jean

![]() Well I have decided to let Sox either sleep with my boys or me and my husband. She has been doing so good the past couple of days. I just gate off the living room at night and she for the most part stays sleeping until its pee or poo time. She has even woken up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Every morning I check and she has gone a couple of times. She hasnt even gotten into any mischief either which was surprising to me. I guess she doesnt want to go to bed in the crate so she figures she better behave. So far so good and hopefully everything will be alright. Now to just get her to stop barking everytime someone makes a noise or walks past the room she is sleeping in. She is now getting into the protect the people in the house mode.

![]() I kept my little Dash in the crate at night when I first got him, the barking the first few evenings was terrible, but after that he got used to it (I think he knew I would let him out when we woke up!) I continued with the night-time crating until he stopped barking to wake me up to pee (made sure he did this for about a week) after I knew he could sleep through the night, no more crate ![]()
