| found something that works for biting Jake is always trying to chew on our hands, but he sometimes bites hard and it hurts! So, I tried something I read in a yorkie book. Next time he bit me, I let out a yelp like puppies do if something hurts. Then, I firmly (without yelling) told him "no" and put him down and wouldn't look at him for about 30 seconds. Then, I picked him up and gave him a toy that he usually chews on. I tried this about 3 times and he got it and now he's not biting at all. It was really hard to ignore him for 30 seconds though lol |

| Thats the way we did it also. I sure wish we had tried it when Ahia was a baby, it sure would have saved some toes!
